After He who remains was murdered by Loki and his variant Sylvie, the multiverse ruptured and caused a sacred timeline called Earth 616. Without He Who Remains the TVA’s grip on timelines began to weaken, so they needed to protect it. But to protect the sacred timeline they had to snatch heroes and villains from other timelines. But what to do with the other timelines? Well they decided to let those timelines die out and focus on the main timeline where everything is safe and sound.
