Formed on January 16th, 2022, the 8th Connecticut aims to offer a little something for everyone. We take our name from a lesser known unit who played a fundamental role in Burnside's attack south of Sharpsburg during the Battle of Antietam. Whether you are a die-hard history buff or a curious gamer, we accommodate veteran and rookie players alike. We currently run in the NA circuit and participate in three weekly events that our leadership helps organize/run. Our ethos is that you get out what you put in. If you want to fall in every week and run in the line, you are more than welcome. If you'd like to help with the admin and are looking to climb the ranks, the opportunity exists as well.

Apart from our line infantry, we run Muhlenberg's Battery - a little something for those who want to lay down some artillery hell. We additionally run a skirmish squad that we hope to turn into cavalry once that is implemented into the game
