MARVEL: WASTELAND
Taking inspiration from the Fallout universe, join your favorite Marvel characters as they wake from their cryogenic pod to a wasteland in need of rebuilding. World building and plot is very character driven, giving everyone the opportunity to participate in plot rich storylines. Characters have the ability to work on individual or group projects driven by dice rolling to further enhance life in and outside the bunker, impacting the world around them.
SERVER LORE:
- 2000: The Premonition | The mutant Destiny visits Charles Xavier to inform him of a dire premonition; the world destroyed by nuclear war. Designed by the Illuminati, bunkers are built all over the world as a means of survival.
- 2020: The Freeze | The bunkers are sealed and the world is never the same.
- 2250: The Awakening | Nearly 250 years later, those that were frozen begin to wake to a new world.
PLOT HIGHLIGHTS:
- AIM and Weapon-X (AIM-X) have teamed up in this post-apocalyptic world, looking for a way to enhance human genealogy in order to survive nuclear radiation.
- AIM-X’s NYC base has been overtaken. Agent Lyle Getz III is currently being held prisoner.
- Deathclaws have been neutralized, one of them now trained to fight with the team.
- With magic on the fritz, Doctor Strange and Magik led an expedition to the Sanctum to investigate the ley lines, discovering that Dormammu has taken over as King of Limbo.
