It's been months after The War to Take Back the Planet ended. With Eggman trapped in Null Space and his Empire left barren, the world was granted a reprieve to heal and enjoy prosperity. However, this isn't the end of the adventure. It's just beginning. There is still more evil lurking around in the world, more secrets to discover and more places to be found!

The world still needs Sonic the Hedgehog and his allies to save it, but what about you? Will you join him in his effort to save the day and be a HERO? Or will you join in the chaos and choose to be DARK? Whatever side you choose, it's your path to follow.
