Over four millennia ago, humanity was frozen in a single and blinding moment. The bright light consumed the earth, halting existence itself as flesh became stone. Cities soon became graves where no one died or lived. As centuries passed, the earth began to heal itself without human intervention. Forest devoured steal, oceans swallowing roads and towers. Quickly nature reshaped the planet into something unrecognizable, wild, ancient.. Alive.
Then. After two thousand years the living statues began to crack. First, the animals woke from their slumber. Some rose evolved, changed, smarter, while others devolved into beasts that should have never existed. When humanity broke free they weren't the same as they once were.
