Taking place in the year 2000, Blackwood Academy is followed by a tale of a castle built in the early 1600's during the Salem Witch Trials. The academy was built to protect and teach not only witches and wizards, but vampires, werewolves, and sirens as well. Due to help from humans aligned with these creatures, the castle remained secret for many years. Unfortunately it was found by hunters and mobs, who set the building ablaze. Years later the castle was rediscovered and rebuilt from the ground up, creating a safe haven for those born or gifted with unique traits and abilities once again, and continuing the legacy started by the first headmaster centuries ago. Today parts of the original building still stand, and students from all over the world come to find residence in its dormitories. Though, students will soon begin to realize that there are mysteries waiting to be unfold, and evil that lurks throughout the halls.
