Here is a summary of LightningClan's Lore:
Many years ago a group of cats have decided to make LightningClan. The reason as for why is unknown but ever since the beginning it has been very strict. LightningClan believes themselves to be the only correct clans, and that the other clans are all wrong and foolish. A rule that dates back to the beginning is that the leader of the clan must be a descendant of the original founder and take on the Lightning Prefix.
Throughout many generations of the clan, the leaders have always been brighter than the lower ranks of the clan. While it is not a rule, many cats of LightningClan look down on the yellow or white felines in the clan if they are not leader, or very least deputy. The darker cats are meant to be stormclouds, forever serving and protecting the lightning.
The clan resides in the snowy, cold mountains. The medicine cats and leaders do not go to a moonstone, instead they go to moonstick. Some cats speculate that it is the reason there is so many storms and lightning around the area, but they see that as a blessing. To them, a storm is a way to know if the clan is on the right path or not.
