Welcome to the Abyss.
It is perpetually cold and dark, with occasional outbreaks of war between the three worlds: Abyss, Aither, and Overworld. Monsters lurk in the never-ending darkness, and some inhabitants have goals that would benefit from your demise.
There are bastions of hope known as the High Captains, who wield a dwindling candle flame to protect the Abyssian people. However, for the most part, you're on your own—just you, your magic, perhaps a few weird or untrustworthy companions, and your limited understanding of all that surrounds you.
Heads up, this server is furry friendly, LGBTQ friendly, the world is pre-American Civil War tech, we allow decent amounts of creative freedom in the abyss, and have a complex lore with a hard magic system.
