Uncertainty and fear plague the cats of the trees as their beloved forest wilts and falls around them. Banished from the now-deadly canopy they once felt safest in, prey is scarce and moods are sour. Meanwhile, deep underground, rebellious cats from the clan beneath the earth win a historical battle allowing them to seek proof of a better life on the surface. Their goal isn’t easy to achieve, though; they emerged in the

Four moons ago, the clans of the forest were changed. An event, now known as The Starless Night occurred at the Four Trees, wherein each clan brought hostility to the hallowed grounds. That night, tensions exploded, and much blood was spilled. Clouds blanketed the sky, and the entirety of Silverpelt went dark, save for the silvery moon high above the clouds. 3 of the four clan leaders were found unmoving in the center of the massive quarrel, and each clan left the battle defeated.
