Murderers killing the town of Melbourne itself. Kidnapers stealing joy from every open hand. Drug smugglers poisoning the very roots of a place people used to call home. What may the detectives do when everything is crumbling around them?
Tasmania, a prison built of fear and concrete, rises from the depths of the sea. A new island, dedicated to housing the most inhuman of delinquents the city had ever seen. A chamber of torture, inescapable… hopefully.
Perhaps the very rise of Port Philip would become the city’s downfall—the city taken by storm, immigrants running rampant without passports or identification. The government, clearly, has forgotten the very meaning of security. Citizens who called the bustling city their home, are now too frightened to leave their own homes. But, of course, crime waits for no one… The rise of robberies and at-home abductions, rendering their living spaces practically uninhabitable…
However, we can never forget… From destruction, creation is born. In the dying hope of Melbourne, a detective leaps to the challenge. Will he be left unsatisfied? Undermined? Overlooked? Or will he truly bring the peace back to Melbourne before it knocks on death’s door?
