Max sat in dorm bed, panting softly as she held a paper towel to her nose. The napkin gathered blood, a result of her latest trip. I was so close. What am I doing wrong? Max thought to herself, holding off tears. She laid down on her back, wondering what she should do… She had saved Chloe in almost every way possible, no had died-. That's when it hit. She sat up, thinking on her thoughts before settling on a single thought… If someone had to die, she would gladly bite the bullet. She sat up, beginning to prepare.
Max stepped into the bathroom and repeated what she had done so many times. Walked in, washed her face, noticed the butterfly, and went to take the picture. She leaned against the stall, waiting before beginning to write a goodbye letter. Just in case. On cue, the snobbish prick himself arrived and soon Chloe Price would come as well, ready to kick some ass. Max was quiet, waiting for her moment, the golden opportunity. She dashed forward when Nathan the moment he pinned Chloe and grabbed the gun, wincing but allowing it to fire into her chest.
Max stumbled back, her vision getting blurry as a warm wetness spread across her chest. She slumped down her side as she saw Nathan panic with David rushing in to investigate but they didn't matter to Max. What did was the fear of Chloe going through what Max was. Heart broken.

Hello, I know this is a niche concept but essentially the server takes place around episode one of the first game but this time around it's different. Max sent herself back in time one more time to bite the bullet for Chloe in hopes to prevent the storm and save her love and the bay. This plot was inspired by mmassafera's Sacrifice Max Ending comic and will be mainly focus on drama and emotional, safe for work roleplay.
