Welcome, one and all, to Star Wars: Rise Of A Republic!
This is a Canon Divergent, OC Inclusive server based on the popular Star Wars franchise! The story is set one year after the Battle of Yavin, where the Empire lost the Death Star and are forced on defense as the Rebel Alliance carries out the Mid Rim Offensive, aiming to retake some worlds! Given this is Canon Divergent and OC Inclusive, it means somethings might not play out the same as the movies, and gives a lot of room for change and player interaction! For example, the Inquisitiorius is still around by this time, where as in Canon it's conveniently absent by the time of A New Hope. Additionally, while this server is largely based on Disney Canon, we can and will have some Legends elements sprinkled in, all done in a case by case basis of course!
As a community, we also pride ourselves on being a bit more understandable, reasonable, and very much more tolerable than other parts of the Star Wars fandom. So even if you aren't the best roleplayer, as long as you follow common sense, proper etiquette, and express a reasonable amount of respect to those around you, then you will be another welcome addition to our little nerd group! Follow the Golden Rule and all. We also do monthly activity checks to clean up after the inactive ones.
