Taking place in the Kalos region, Moribund is a RP server that does its best to emulate the form of the Pokémon X and Y games and anime while adding its own creative elements. This includes a new evil team, new gym leaders, and more to be revealed. Trainers can expect to progress through the region – whether collecting badges or not – in a way that revisits familiar locations while peeling back the mystery festering in the shadows.
For a smooth transition to text, Moribund conducts battles using a custom-made system. This way, elements of the original games can shine in battle without overshadowing the creativity and written elements of the battlers. Furthermore, the system allows any pokémon to be viable, creating an environment where trainers can use their favorite monsters without worrying about a meta. Understandably, not everyone may enjoy using a battle system in text, but we hope you'd give us a chance and offer feedback so we can fine-tune its flaws.
Finally, while the plot may broach some grim subjects, we aren't crafting a hyper-serious environment. The owner's a goober; I can't trust him to go five minutes without dropping a skull emoji.
