March 1989, the first incidence of a Neuroi Invasion was realized. Soviet and NATO forces combined in June of 1989 into the current witch units under the Combined Joint Striker Command. Since the start of the Neuroi War, cities in the United States and Soviet Union have been invaded and partially destroyed, leading to the Joint Squadrons in Europe to be left undermanned as more urgent Joint Squadrons were formed in the United States and the Soviet Union to take over the defense of their territories. The Neuroi took advantage of the chaos of the former battlefield of Germany (as well as the weakening of the European squadrons) and began a secondary invasion in Western and Central Europe.
Will the undermanned European Joint Squadrons be able to repel the Neuroi Invasion, or will they be forced to return to the United States and abandon Europe to its fate?
