Hello there! The name "Shadow Of War Roleplay" suggests that our server is just about roleplay, and we agree that it might be misleading. The word "Roleplay" represents our servers main feature, which doesn't mean we dont do other things! We're as much of a SOM/SOW community server as we are a roleplay server. This ad is here to summarize everything our server has to offer. If any of the things below interest you, feel free to join us!
The Community
We discuss the games, the lotr, host tournaments & events, play games, and enjoy ourselves! The server has been around for a while and has managed to attract all sorts of enthusiasts whom will be more than happy to welcome you into our server! If you arent intrested in talking, you might find joy in our community events and games! We listen to our community and allow them to participate in development of the server. We wish to create a environment where everyone can have a good time!
We accept parternships from all sorts of servers, and we're constantly looking for people who wish to join our gamemaster ranks!
The Roleplay
We do not crave any world or mechanics knowledge. Which means that players are free to submit their characters whenever But if you'd like to know a little about our roleplay before joining, then this quick introduction will provide you with information you'll need in order to get started!

After Celebrimbors and Saurons fight on top of Barad Dûr, the two became one being. Now, they're in a constant conflict, battling over control of the tower, and by extension, the dark army of mordor. Eltariel kept Celebrimbors ring and returned to fulfilling her primary goal, hunting down the Nazgūl. Talion, after Celebrimbors and Eltariels betrayal, began wearing Isildurs corupted ring. The ranger decided to upkeep the border between Gondor and Mordor. He keeps onto that goal, knowing that the ring will turn him into a wraith one day.
The Mordor we, and our community, have created is highly flexible. Our players direct or indirect actions are often the cause of changes in the region. We focus around each individuals own story. Players are free to become either a canon character, or a custom character. Here, there is no decisive ending or pathway. Everyone can change the course of history and shape the world around them! The mechanics you'll find here are inspired by those of DND. Their existence might suggest a combat heavy roleplay, but in reality we strongly support and encourage regular roleplaying!
Conquer forts, outposts, checkpoints. Hunt beasts, recruit grunts, or summon the dead from their grave. Make friends, allies or foes. Kill bosses, or become their champion. Aid the bright lord, the dark lord, or carve your own path. The sole thing limiting you here are the few rules, some mechanics, and your own imagination
