The server is set thousands of years into the future after a nuclear war destroyed the earth as we know it. Angered by the war, Mother Nature decided to take matters into Her own hands and create a "solution" to the problem. In doing so, She allowed the humans to become something more. Some remained the same, while others mutated to survive their environment better and became elves. Due to the world destroying itself, everyone was forced to rebuild their societies but seemed to have stalled out in an era similar to the medieval ages.
Along with the creation of the elves, She created the Creatures. The Creatures are a species of dragonlike lizards that handle population control. They're shaped similar to a mixture of a dog and a komodo dragon. They have acidic spit and attack anything that's warm-blooded or bleeds. Any large groups of 6 or more run the risk of the Creatures attacking them.
To combat this, humans formed groups of 5 or less and remain nomadic, while Elves have decided to form clans that remain tightknit and large. The elves have decided to engage in a millenniums long battle with the Creatures in order to keep their way of life and keep their numbers safe
The roleplay takes place in the Scandanavian region, so near Sweden and Norway. The elves speak a form of Norwegian and the humans speak a form of English. Most humans know Norwegian but few Elves know english.
The world is heavily based in medieval fantasy, but there are mild nods to modern technology. The ruins of the "old world" are scattered throughout the country. While the structures are stable, it is not recommended that people enter them due to the fact that the Creatures tend to reside in them.
