Creepypastas are horror stories shared frequently around the internet, taken from the term copypasta. These stories derived from chain letters from 1999 to the mid 2010's. Things like "If you read this you're doomed to die.. Even if you read the first letter!" Or "I was once a person like you.. But then.."
Most of these stories ended in, "Share this to 10 people, or you'll die!". Since then, these have fallen out of fashion.
Of course any sensible person could see past these as just silly or boring in some cases, but what if that were true? What if you could die if you hadn't shared something, like an image?

Welcome to Tenebrous, a creepypasta themed roleplay server. Our goal is to try and capture the vibe you'd get joining a creepypasta server before 2017. Edginess and all. Of course this doesn't mean you're allowed to be offensive, we've moved past that.
Our server has a manual verification system to prevent raiders and harmful people from entering the server, a password is hidden in the rules!
We strive to make everyone feel comfortable here, both roleplay and community wise. This means a discrimination free zone, everyone here is treated kindly.
Both canon and original characters are allowed both when it comes to creepypasta and the slenderverse, the masterlist is updated with each new approved character.
