With the destruction of the Second Death Star resulting in the death of Emperor Palpatine, the banners of freedom are being raised by the Rebel Alliance as they achieve yet another great victory that shows the rule of the Empire is at an end. They call upon all those who wish to restore democracy within the galaxy to join together and finally put an end to Imperial rule.
All the while, the remaining leadership of the Galactic Empire scramble to keep a hold of their holdings. While the rebellion grows and traitors forge Warlord states, the Empire still stands and readies for the great final battle to ensure the Empire is victorious. Many desire to claim the Imperial throne with opportunists and loose alliances being forged.
Beyond the conflict of the Empire and Alliance, opportunity is presented for others to rise and use the turmoil to their advantage. Crime Lords, Freelancers, and Military Leaders from all backgrounds fight their own battles and travel across the extensive galaxy forging their own stories.
