📜 Setting Info
Many worlds spin along the currents of the Astral Sea. Aophus is but another among the many. But to the people who live their entire lives on it, she is more than just a ball of rock, and water. It is the great garden cultivated by the overgoddess Aolun, and tended to by the deities of the Aophian pantheon. And right now, it's also a blast furnace, a melting pot of ideas and steady advancements, as this medieval setting—still recovering from a recent demonic invasion—is at the very, very beginning of an industrial revolution.
Flintlocks and muskets, magic-powered trains and a growing intercontinental railway, mechanical people powered and given life by soul magic. In this world, traditions have begun to clash with new ways, magic clashes with these early risings of technology, but so too do they blend together to form a synthesis.
Mostly, the world has not changed much, life remains largely the same, but more convenienced by recent inventions. Travel across long distances is now easier and more accessible, archers now accompanied by musketeers, knights backed by mechanical troops to diminish the loss of life.
But, adventurers are still needed. A new adventuring guild in the port city of Duskmount is eagerly recruiting new members. If you're looking for adventure, the Sun Wolves want you!
