Lightning struck down the building, creating an explosion never seen in history. Power plants in Irindale exploded. The plagued Jaxville became only more diseased. Folks in Nephwark struggling to get by suddenly found themselves with extreme power.
Beings of unfathomable powers spread across the four cities, labeled as 'Extraordinaries.' Fear at of the unknown spread, hatred toward those with abilities grew. Most went into hiding, some refused to change and few would reject the new way of life entirely.
