Ever since July 14th 1979, there has been strange mystery surrounding the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago. Car crashes with a 50/50 chance of survival and, for those in the know, access to the power of stands upon survival. For victims who eventually succumb to their injuries, death has been recorded to reach them exactly 16 and a half days after their accident. Scientists for years had been baffled by the enigma and therefore titled the concept as 'The Dan Ryan Syndrome'.
Ever since, things have remained consistent. However...
September 15th 2004. Six bodies had been discovered with each bludgeoned to death in an eerily professional fashion. The connection? All of them had experienced Dan Ryan Syndrome and survived it. They found a name for the unknown murderer, The Ventura Killer.
Stand users panicked, trying to escape the state of Chicago only to be found discarded and dealt with the following day.
With the many factions on the verge of a frantic war to discover the identity of the Ventura Killer hidden within their own ranks, where will you place your character within the craze and will you find the killer? Or, will you let them get away with their wicked crimes?
