It all starts, not on this Earth but another. One that for those capable of watching the Multiverse can be described as the Universe of Hope, the Prime Earth. Earth-0, a planet under the watchful eye of all of the worlds greatest heroes in their peak prime. With everything going for them, having an advantage in this Earth because of how they came up. But, that's the story of that universe. The story of this one takes place from one man.

A ruler, of the world known as Apokolips. Eventually going to Earth to take over and rule it, though met with a great force. One that has been called the "Justice League", and after his eventual many defeats at the hand of them and then the start of the events of Metal War a group of beings stepped in. Ones that reshaped the multiverse, where Earth-0 was once the center of this multiverse and 2 new planets were born, but our focus is on just but one:
The Alpha World - The Absolute Universe / The Elseworld.
A planet of infinity possibility, and having a similar vibration to that of the Prime Earth. At first they did their best to connect to it, but it seemed due to the other universes underdevelopment it wasn't yet possible. Then that man stepped in, using the Miracle Machine and defying his own destiny. Now existing outside of the boundaries of reality, with one target in mind.
Controlling the Alpha World, he infected it with his energy of despair rapidly accelerating its growth and manipulating the lives of all heroes that once stood up to him. Making sure they were never given their most important aspects to becoming a Hero, whether it be families, mentors, or even just money it was stripped from them.
