This is set after season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, up to date with Helluva Boss. After Adam was killed by Niffty, and brought back to life by some of the archangels, Heaven sent down a warning: all of Hell would pay for those injustices. The exterminations would now include the other rings in Hell, and for all intents and purposes? Hell and Heaven were officially at war.
