Blackwood is a pleasant and scenic slice of small town USA founded during the 1800s close to the mountains of Colorado. Stories of strange happenings and bizarre occurrences have plagued the town for as long as people have lived there. Recently, the extremely private tech corporation Merry Machines moved in, taking over the local historic amusement park, Wiseland. While this has been seen as a boon to the town, drawing in tourists and creating new jobs, it also brought with it an entirely new flavor of the inexplicable.
In this reality where magic and real monsters lurk in the periphery of awareness, adventure awaits behind every dark corner.

This Happy Place is a modern sci-fi/horror roleplay server for those with a fascination for the dark, the macabre, the supernatural, and of course themed entertainment. This is a place where childhood wonder and dark whimsy intersect to create the stories and experiences like those found in Five Nights at Freddy's, The Park, Illbleed, CREO World from the Surge, and Nuka-World from Fallout 4.
This community is all-inclusive, although the especially squeamish and minors should beware of the dark and mature themes awaiting inside!
