JULY 1986. It had been four months since the four gates had opened into one big one. Animals have begun going almost crazy, attacking humans, looking like they have rabies without the foaming mouth. People who have been bitten or had ingested goo that came from the upside down we what's known as "infected." At first they just had a fever, then it turned into lashing out at people, then would start acting like the rabid animals, soon enough not even able to talk, becoming almost puppets in a sense. It was a pandemic now that was everywhere and uncurbable. It was only in hawkins but spread all over the world, and now people have to fight these creatures and even humans themselves now to survive...
