Despite her utter urgency to "break the wheel" upon her return to Westeros, Queen Daenerys Targaryen's potential to change the realm as she knew it was cut short with her untimely death during the birth of her first son. Now three generations later, Westeros teeters on the edge of yet another all-out war. Her grandson, aptly named "Aemon the Vicious" was a cruel man- unjust in both his rule and the treatment of his immediate family. His eldest daughter, and now the Queen of a fractured realm, struggles with ruling amidst constant threats both near and far. Both House Blackfyre and House Baratheon of King's Landing have survived- and now bide their time as chaos slowly builds. The Iron Islands and North both enjoy the freedoms of their independence, but risk growing too bold in their actions against the remaining kingdoms. Most believe it is only a question of not if, but when the scale finally tips too far and the Stranger takes its toll.
