Introduction:
Once on the planet earth, animals evolved to become sentient, bipedal creatures. Initially, there was bloodshed: carnivores preyed on herbivores just as they would in the wild, and herbivores banded together, crafting tools to oppose their mortal enemies. As society progressed, herbivores and carnivores began to coexist. They came together, forming tribes, then towns, then nations.
In the late 2100s, scientist Edward Scalia cracked the code for an efficient fusion torch engine, and thrusted the civilization into the Solar System through the invention of the "Scalia Drive". It is now the year 2498: the powers of the Solar System have been locked in a cold war for many decades. Meanwhile, rockhoppers roamed the Asteroid Belt and the Rings of Saturn in search of that haul which will finally set themselves up for life, while pirates and privateers thrived on raiding both the innocent and the not so innocent...
Through all the bloodshed and conflict, there is a privateer vessel named MPRN Surprise. For whatever reason, you have found yourself aboard this ship, ready to begin a brand new chapter of your life...
