For a thorough amount of time, Leiper’s Fork has been policed by the Sheriff’s Department as a landmark for county lines and various other narcotics operations, although that particularly died down after various doors were knocked in by enraged sheriffs, hoping to restore peace.

However, just because a few dainty officers stormed a few houses with faces like thunder, it didn’t stop the whole trade. Drugs aren’t harnessed through mules; they’re done through runners. Hardcore drugs are not passed through Leiper’s Fork as they are deemed too much of a risk by gangs. Two gangs that have rivalled since the late 1980’s up until now, the early 2000's, Fortunately, for the past few years, each of these ‘gangs’ has learned how to co-exist with one another. They have stopped intruding on each other's supply runs, and the murders also came to an end at the same time. Up until now.

Citizens of Leiper’s Fork are aware of the presence of the gangs, and some of the affiliates in the town have decided to play god, giving themselves a chance to weigh the decision of whether someone gets to die or gets to stay alive.As of these most recent days, certain gang members have begun to be plucked off like fish taken from the sea by hungry birds. You can already assume what sort of issues these are causing. The two gangs are at each other's necks, walking around in the dead of night with machetes and other sorts of knives; guns are too loud, so they stick to the quiet option. Some do bring guns to knife fights, though. You can decide to walk alone at night and perhaps be killed accidentally, though it is safer to walk in groups of two or more.
