Hello, and welcome to the Hellsing Ultimate Fanclub! For those who don't know about hellsing, let me tell you a little about the history...
Hellsing's Origins
Hellsing was a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kouta Hirano. And was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's seinen manga magazine "Young Kings OURs" from April 1997 to September of 2008, with hits chapters collected up into 10 volumes.
Hellsing the Television series which was produced by Gonzo was released to the public on October 10th, 2001 running a total of 13 episodes. And eventually concluded on January 16th 2002. Kouta was not happy about how the series turned out, as it strayed away from the manga towards the end of the series. And on December 5th, 2006 the Hellsing OVA was released to the public. 10 episodes were included in the series, ranging from 45-50 minutes each. Each episode covering the plot more closely to the manga then the original 2001 make.
What is hellsing about?
Hellsing is named after and centered around the Royal Order of Protestant Knights originally led by Abraham Van Helsing. The mission of Hellsing is to search for and destroy the undead and other supernatural forces of evil that threaten the queen and the country.
