Long ago, an island was pulled from the sea. It called to the wayward and the lost to come settle its lands, and so they did. For a time, all the peoples lived in peace, with no wars between them. They named this place the "Island of the Dawn".

Forty years ago, however, this balance was broken. The first human king rose up and began to expand his lands--the first war had come to the Island of the Dawn.
