The year is 84 AG. The Air Nomads were obliterated at the very beginning of the war. But fear not, the fighting is over. During the war, two subsequent incarnations of the Avatar rose to prominence. Both were killed. The war came to a close and the Fire Nation declared their victory in the summer of 68AG.
When one Avatar falls, another rises. And this time, the child was born within the Fire Nation Imperial family. She would be a shining example of Fire Nation supremacy.
And then she died. That was two years ago, now. The Fire Nation declared that the Avatar had been assassinated by an insurrectionist group. Nobody knows where a new Avatar could appear. There are no known survivors of the Air Nomad Genocide. The Fire Nation has control over almost everything, and very few are expecting anything other than the effective end of the avatar cycle. The Avatar’s death brought even more oppression and control from the Fire Nation occupying forces and rebellion is only becoming harder.
It'll take a miracle to change anything now.

Avatar: Takeover is an AU branching from the very start of the hundred year war. One in which the Fire Nation attacks before Aang runs and one in which things end significantly worse. One person can't overthrow the Fire Nation's imperial control, but it can all start with one. Will you be that person, or will you participate in the continued rule of the Fire Nation?
