In the current age, 4BBY, the galaxy is in turmoil amidst the oppression of the Galactic Empire against those few who bravely stand up for those who cannot defend themselves. While the Empire is majorly unopposed, survivors of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire alike know what true freedom is and that the Empire represents nothing of the sort. While some oppose the Empire publicly in politics, others do so discretely through force. Among those who survive are the Jedi who live in secret, their true identities hidden as the Empire's inquisitors hunt them relentlessly. In this time of strife, there are some who seek to profit, those of the freelance variety who skirt the boundaries of legal and illegal as they always seem to know what laws to break or not break. Even for the bounty hunters, there is never a shortage of work because in a galaxy so conflict ridden, there is always someone who wants something illegal or someone who wants someone else dead. There, of course, are also those who try to just get by with a legitimate business but some things are just not possible between harsh regulation and the squeeze of gangs. Eventually they too are faced to break some laws and risk the boot of the empire trampling them.
With a fleshed out economy of everything from weapons to armor to even ships, this server is mainly canon with some non-canon things allowed including custom factions, ships, characters, fleets, and even being able to play canon characters. This server, a continuation from another whom the staff all hail from, have continued the story with the ability to skew canon from this point on. Will you be a mercenary just trying to get by on their next job? Maybe an Imperial TIE pilot with a cocky attitude and a disdain for stormtroopers? Perhaps a surviving Jedi from the purge? Or even an inquisitor seeking to eliminate those survivors? The choice is yours!
