10 years ago, the League of Villains invaded UA as a final attack against the soon to be graduating class.
Afterwards, the school had to be shut down to protect the safety of the students, fortunately they were able to graduate early without an issue.
Many protested how UA failed to protect its students, arguing that hero academies were exploitative. This along with building expenses, quitting staff and a lack of funding caused UA to shut down.
Many of the students went onto become pro-heroes, despite the trauma they went through.
After 10 years of fighting the press, battling lawsuits against angry families and dealing witht he emotional turmoil of the event, UA is now able to open its door again!
UA is officially hosting their very first international class. We not only invite students from Japan, but from all over the world. Our tests and entrance exams are incredibly rigorous, only the best and most capable will be accepted.
The staff consists of alumni, specifically the alumni of the very last class.
However, not everyone could make it. Some decided to not follow the hero path all together, many felt too powerless to even pursue being a hero, some even became villains instead.
