It is the 42nd Millenium, Cadia has fallen, the Imperium has been split in half and Robute Guilliman sits himself atop the Golden Throne. To live in this time is to be one among trillions of souls living under one of the harshest regimes imaginable, fighting in some of the worst wars possible.
With the destruction of Cadia, the Imperium has begun to take men and women from other regiments of the Imperial Guard and begun to dub them Cadian. The importance of the ever fighting Cadian soldier as important to the Imperium as the mighty lasgun. To this extent, the 234th, a long since dormant regiment has been founded a second time and renewed with non-Cadian members among its ranks. With the legend of the Cadian 234th coming back to life, the regiment is sent out once more to campaign in the galactic north against the Heretic, Traitor and Xeno alike.
For its first campaign, the men and women of the Cadian 234th find themselves being sent to the world of Tantun IV. A formerly sleepy agriworld that has begun to rise against the Imperium. With traitors being present, the Cadian 234th find themselves given the task of returning the Lex Imperialis to the world. No matter how many traitors they have to kill to achieve this.
