Lone Oak Academy is a boarding school in Dribirn, Canada. It welcomes students of all species, diets, genders, and backgrounds. Students are prepared for adult life and for college during the three years of education that Lone Oak offers.
However, a massive Black Market that's ingrained in the city has led to neglect from the government. Dribirn is filled with crime, and as a result many gangs have established themselves, some trying to protect their community and others trying to exploit it. Drugs circulate the city, primarily Red Taxi and Hamartia. Red Taxi, created by a gang of bears is a "meat supplement" made from blood, crushed bone, and caffeine pills. Hamartia is marketed as a drug that nullifies carnivore instincts, but causes extreme muscle atrophy.
Lone Oak Academy's faculty does their best to protect students from the terror that lies within the city, but it's hard to keep it out. Cameras, curfews, and security guard can't even keep drugs out of the school, and the faculty is giving up, much like Dribirn's government. Lone Oak Academy is far from the peaceful school it once was, but it still shapes the lives of hundreds of students... For better, or for worse.
