The districts remained malnourished and hopeless, dreading which unfortunate two would be brutally torn away from their family. As Coriolanus Snow met his demise, a new snake emerged in his wake, eager to follow in his tyrannical footsteps. Cassia Valor, formerly Cassia Snow, continued to rule over Panem, instilling fear into her citizens, just as her grandfather once did. The 100th annual Hunger Games - the fourth Quarter Quell - was rapidly approaching, simple mindee citizens desperate to hear this year's sickening twist. As the population gathered around their rusty televisions, terrified of their fate, the Quarter Quell was announced.
"For this year's Quarter Quell, a pair of siblings from each district will be sent into the Hunger Games, to remind us of the betrayal faced during the Dark Days"
Families sob in horror as they face the cruel possibility of losing two of their beloveds, for them to be degraded and used for entertainment for all of Panem to see.
