In this new age, the mortals have been given a second chance. Gone is the era of the crystal. The bold action of a few inspired the many to turn back the tides of evil, and rekindle their world. Forging a new present, and a new era where they flourished. This is the “Dawn of the Crystal Remnants”
Basking in the peace that was secured by their ancestors, the world grew complacent. They forgot the hardships their ancestors had faced to give them this opportunity, and they wasted it. Their second chance for peace, slowly descending into the debauchery and greed of those who had power and the scrabble to attain it if they did not.
The mortals have idled as evil has crept back into their realm, lurking in every shadow. Corrupting the hearts of many and in some, rending their very forms into something else. Crime has exploded, and conflicts between nations increase, while monsters populate uncolonized lands in abundance. Nowhere is safe now.
Will you join us in our duty to stamp out this evil once and for all? Or will you seek out a normal life?
