Clepsydra is an adult dark-fantasy roleplaying server, and our goal is to be an escape from reality. We grew tired of reading 30+ pages of lore to be accepted to write, our characters being forced into a narrative, or having no impact in the story. Reality’s horrors are unyielding, and frankly, it’s suffocating. We hope that we can give our members a space to breathe. Currently, we need of active members, friendly banter, new faces, and new stories to write. We look forward to meeting you!

“I am a branch,” she told the statue, “Connected to the tree’s trunk- whose roots are buried in warm soil while snow falls.” The sculpture’s cupped hands hold a frozen pond of coins, and she brushes away the fresh snow on its wrists with frostbitten fingertips. The cold gale whips at her skin, but she does not flinch. It howls, but she does not listen.
Instead, she thinks of days where her chisel chipped away at a stubborn limestone block. Meticulous strike after meticulous strike, rubble smoothed into a kneeling figure with outstretched hands. Warm sunlight would cascade into the courtyard, and when it left burning kisses along her sweating skin, she would retreat into the shade of the trees and smile at her craftsmanship.
