Republic Rising simulates the governance of the Roman Republic. Players take on the roles of senators, participate in elections, propose new laws through bills, and engage in governmental roleplay. The emphasis is on creating unique historical narratives and shaping governance according to individual preferences and strategies. The goal of the game is for players to work together to uphold the Republic, if the Republic falls the game ends.
