Before the Heian era, where the king of curses, Ryomen Sukuna was the largest threat, there existed.....another. Beings that have existed before curses were even known of, these deities are referenced as gods throughout histories and mythology.
The Primordial Curses. Beings of sheer power, able to contest the King Of Curses himself. Worshipped, feared, loved, and hated. These beings helped humanity, for a price, human lives. Either to use as playthings, food, or simply toys to tear apart and discard.
This began the age of sorcerers, the first known sorcerers, one of the strongest eras due to the presence of these Primordial Curses. The sorcerers sought to fight back against these deities, brandishing their own faith in gods that were not malevolent like these....curses.
It seemed they would lose, but in a final effort the sacrifice of the sorcerers lives allowed them to deal the Primordial Curses, in seals so that they may be discarded forever.

These boxes held these creatures, and have for ages, laying in wait, their spiteful tongues spawning more and more cursed through the ages, tragedy sewn by their whispers.
It's now the modern age, curses roam the whole world now, and the locations of these sealed beings is unknown, but recently, artifacts known as Sukunas Fingers have started to be discovered. With Jujutsu Highs own Gojo, holder of Limitless, and The Honored One, now searching to destroy Sukunas relics.
