Hundreds of years ago, the era of humans ended.
Creatures from outer space, dubbed 'Aliens,' appeared out of nowhere, seemingly much more advanced in technology than anything Earth's inhabitants had ever seen. At first, peaceful negotiations were attempted but soon after, the Aliens took charge and decimated humanity's freedom.
Now, humans are raised as pets for the Aliens, known as 'Segyein'. Some humans are artificially engineered, especially those used for entertainment-- A perfect specimen is needed, after all.
Alien Stage is a yearly competition set up by the aliens, pitting human contestants against each other in a singing battle to the death! Anakt Garden is the best-specialised kindergarten for aspiring Alien Stage participants.
Although Segyein are the dominating force, it seems that Rebels are emerging... Slowly, protests have begun to give humans a better life-- And more rights.
