Via Draconis is a new and well thought-out roleplay server and community. We are aiming for a more unique experience than the typical generic fantasy setting as well as providing an enjoyable place to stay for our members.
* What makes us different is that we're aiming for a roleplay server that takes on a slightly more realistic alternate-history type of setting as well as including the typical enjoyable magical fantasy we all love. We're going with the underrated time period of the 16th century, primarily in Europe (for now), brandishing blade and gun while not invalidating and deeming more conventional high fantasy and ancient themes inappropriate.
* We also hope to benefit from some light historical accuracy and the inclusion of more typical TTRPG tropes such as adventuring and the possibility of quest hunting. We have a large lore (that hasn't been entirely typed out) that nails down the world, magic, the three overlaid planes and opens the possibility for various events. Lore drops and their discovery, large roleplay events, an interactive lore for the players to provoke changes in as well as encouraged character progression. We hope to offer a good enjoyable environment for stories to flourish in as well as character development.
* Besides the roleplay aspects, of course, the server also focuses on an appropriately enjoyable community side. Wishing to offer you approachable and friendly staff (especially me the owner, hi), accommodating all the major interests our members may have and allowing everyone to enjoy oneself. A well laid out server with properly organized channels, welcome suggestions and a constant desire to make it the best server it can possibly be for its members.
