Three years ago, scientists were working on a cure for cancer when they dropped the wrong chemical into the mixture. It turned into a gas and began to spread across the world. Some of the people became a bit ill, but they got better. The others gained... gifts.
In present day, the government created a program to keep the gifted “under control“. Hunters search for the gifted to take to the program where experiments are done on them. The gifted have gone into hiding to keep from becoming captured and used as lab rats. They created an underground city known as Haven where the gifted hide from the hunters.
